Equity research

Every market is unique and has its challenges. Delivering the best service and best products demands a local presence. To ensure the highest quality in its advisory services, Carnegie has created a strong research unit with in-depth knowledge of both Nordic companies and their international competitors. This has contributed to the equity research department’s high ranking in the Nordic market.

Carnegie has about 60 analysts organized in cross-sectoral teams that work in the four Nordic offices. They monitor more than 400 Nordic companies representing about 95 percent of the market value on the Nordic exchanges. General economic conditions in the world are monitored by Carnegie’s macro economists, who work closely with the analysts.

Approximately 2,000 analyses are produced each year, including many major company and sector reports and strategy reports.

Commissioned Research

Carnegie Commissioned Research aim to increase visability and knowledge around small and medium-sized listed companies.

Commissioned Research means that the analyzed company compensates Carnegie for the work. The analysis contains neither a recommendation nor a target price, but rather an assessment of the company’s potential and risks based on the same working methods as traditional equity research.

The analysis is distributed to our institutional customers globally and will also be made available to the broader public, here on our webpage.

The objective is to help small and medium-sized companies connect with capital markets and through this reach a large network of institutional and retail investors.
