Carnegie joint bookrunner in SEK 2,000 million issuance of hybrid capital securities by Heimstaden

Heimstaden AB (publ) (“Heimstaden”) issues hybrid capital securities in the amount of SEK 2,000 million in the Nordic capital markets. Heimstaden is a leading privately-owned residential real estate company in Northern Europe with focus on acquiring, refining, developing and managing residential real estate.

The hybrid capital securities are perpetual, have a first call date occurring after 5.5 years and will be accounted for as equity on the Company’s financial accounts. Net proceeds from the issue will be used for investments, acquisitions and general corporate purposes. The interest rate for the hybrid capital securities was set to Stibor 3 months + 590 bps. The issue date was set to 11 April 2019. The transaction is one of the largest, issues of non-officially rated hybrid capital securities in the Nordics ever.
