The nomination for the Carnegie Art Award 2012 has resulted in 127 artists being invited to the selection process of works for the 2012 exhibition. The list of nominees is confidential but the selected group of artists will be presented directly following the Jury meeting in May.
The names of the first, second and third prize as well as the recipient of the scholarship will be announced after the second meeting of the Jury in August 2011.
The Carnegie Art Award has the pleasure to introduce two new Jury members: Ann-Sofi Noring, Co-director, Moderna Museet, Stockholm, and Stian Grøgaard, Professor in art theory, the Academy of Fine Art, Oslo National Academy of the Arts.
