The Carnegie Art Award 2012 opens at the Royal Swedish Academy of Fine Arts in Stockholm on March 16. The museum is located in central Stockholm.
During the exhibition at Stenersenmuseet in Oslo, visitors to the exhibition have had the opportunity to vote for their favourite among the participating artists. We are happy to announce that Heikki Marila was the favourite of the Oslo audience.
Carnegie Art Award has been established by Carnegie Investment Bank to promote Nordic contemporary painting and to recognise and support distinguished artists born or living in the Nordic countries.
