On Friday January 8, 2010, the Carnegie Art Award 2010 opened at Listasafn Islands, the National Gallery of Iceland. The Prime Minister Jóhanna Sigurðardóttir opened the exhibition and made a much appreciated speech. There were more than 1,300 visitors this evening.
The Swedish artist Anastasia Ax made a strong performance during the evening and below is a link to the Swedish Ambassy's web site, where you can read a review by the Ambassador.
