Carnegie’s management of Swedish shares is based primarily on our own equity research, which has received a number of awards in recent years. Most recently, Carnegie was ranked number one in the 2008 ranking of Swedish equity research firms by the research company Prospera. Previously, also in 2008, Carnegie received the award for Best Analysis of Nordic Companies from the US information company Institutional Investor.
Our mutual funds have also long been successful relative to both our competitors and benchmarks. The Carnegie WorldWide fund, for example, was named the global fund of the year in 2008 by both the magazine Privata Affärer and the website fondmarknaden.se. Privata Affärer also awarded Carnegie the overall title of Fund Manager of the Year for 2008.
