Foundation management

Foundation management

Each foundation is unique. We create solutions that take into consideration the prerequisites applying for each foundation and that are always based on long-term management of the foundation’s assets and our relation to you as a client.

Carnegie’s history is intimately associated with the foundation concept. The founder David Carnegie Sr. turned the business over to his son David Carnegie Jr. and Oscar Ekman, who were both major philanthropists and donated significant funds to charitable causes through foundations that were managed and administered by the brokerage firm that would eventually reclaim Carnegie as the company name.

Foundation management within Carnegie offers customized solutions that take into consideration the various requirements applying for each foundation. Management is characterized by a long-term perspective and sustainability with a few carefully selected investments, low turnover and a focus on returns. This philosophy has provided guidance over many years and produced very excellent results.

Successful foundation management demands more than just asset management. Carnegie offers a full range of legal and administrative services for foundations. Our staff are experts at foundation management and have many years’ experience of accounting, civil law, tax law and the precedents that have been established in this area, thus guaranteeing quality, continuity and stability.
