Offer opportunities for source-sorting and facilitate efficient, environmentally compatible waste handling. Strive to reduce the total volume of waste. Place clear environmental requirements on the purchase of goods and services. Replace environmentally hazardous chemicals with less hazardous substances where possible Reduce the environmental impact of transports for both business travel and delivery of goods. Choose construction methods and materials with consideration to the environment and in accordance with Fabege’s environment program for new construction and renovation. Prevent the occurrence and spread of contaminants. Increase environmental knowledge among employees through training and communicate environmental issues both internally and externally Regularly document, follow-up, evaluate and improve environmental work Comply with or exceed prevailing environmental laws and other requirements affecting operations.Carnegie is taking the following measures in the new offices: Light sensors in toilets to reduce electricity consumption Environmental stations in copying rooms Reduction of the number of printers per department by assigning more users to the same printer.
