Diversity

By taking advantage of people’s varied experience, knowledge and characteristics, we strive to create a creative and learning work environment that increases the prerequisites for achieving an optimal result. A workplace characterised by diversity is therefore of great importance for Carnegie, since it contributes to an attractive and secure environment for both clients and employees.

We strive for a workplace in which our employees have equal rights, opportunities and responsibilities in all areas. Furthermore, our goal is that all employees are treated with respect and with consideration taken to each individual’s legitimate right to integrity, regardless of gender, ethnic origin, sexual orientation, religion, functional disorders, social background or other differences. Work with diversity must be included as a natural and integrated part of all operations. This applies for all of Carnegie’s offices in Sweden and at all levels in the company.

We achieve this goal
by striving after diversity in various types of work and positions in recruitment. All assessment in this context must be based on objective criteria that relate to competence and suitability.

by offering all employees, regardless of gender, ethnic background, sexual orientation, religion, functional disorder or social background equal opportunities for development within the scope of their skill, willingness and/or ability.

by ensuring that no employee is subject to discrimination in salary due to gender, ethnic background, sexual preference, religion, functional disorder or social background by offering equal pay and terms of employment for work with equal or equivalent degree of difficulty and demands.

by preventing and avoiding all forms of discrimination and harassment by ensuring that every employee takes individual responsibility for counteracting actions that constitute unwelcome behaviour and which may be perceived as violating an employee’s integrity.

by making it easier for all employees to combine work and family life by providing extra compensation for parental leaves, allowing the employee to retain selected benefits during leaves and as far as possible offering flexible working hours and an opportunity to work from home.
